Welcome to the St Francis Youth and Community website.

St Francis Youth and Community Centre has been a focal point within the community since 1975 with over 1,000 people accessing our services each week.

We are situated on Sycamore Road in the heart of the Bournville village. The Centre is open to all members of the community and offers a wide range of activities for the local people and groups to access. These include a pre-school, leisure classes, out of school club, a luncheon club and a youth project

K@Boom our Out-of-School Club runs a before and after school club and holiday club.

K@Boom is Ofsted and EYFS registered and children are cared for by friendly, qualified and caring staff. All of the staff are DBS checked.

The out-of-school club is for primary aged children from Bournville Infant and Junior Schools. It is open Monday-Friday (term time) from 8.00-9.00 a.m. and 3.30-6.00 p.m.

The Holiday Club is open to all primary aged children and runs in the school holidays from 8.00 a.m.- 6.00 p.m. It is Centre based, but also includes trips to the local park and swimming pool.

Activities at both clubs include: playing team games in the hall, snooker, collage, painting and table football. Space is also provided for quieter activities. Children can also choose to watch television, sit in small groups to chat and play with construction toys and board games.

The children also have access to an outside garden area which includes planting areas, a summer house and seating area.
